Moms in Prayer

Please join us this Friday, September 7th (and every Friday after) at 7:50 am for Moms in Prayer. Please contact Amy Taylor, HGCS coordinator, at amy.lynn.taylor.71@gmail.com if you have questions.


Parent Night:
Please plan to attend the first parent night of the 2018-2019 school year on September 18 beginning at 6:00 pm in the Event Center.  Here are the topics for Middle School:
  • Washington DC trip.  All students travelling must have a parent attend this meeting.  Please report to room 1114, near the Bookstore.
  • Readers /Writers Workshop/Literacy/Honors.  Please report to room 1113, near the Bookstore.



Friday Night Football
You still have time to sign up for the 2nd annual Cornhole Tournament taking place this Friday after the HG Lions vs Camden Military Academy.  Food Trucks will also be available beginning at 6:00 pm



Cafeteria Closed:
Due to a wedding, the cafeteria will be closed September 28.  Look for information coming soon about a pizza lunch that will be offered to students.

September 12     Junior class ring distribution
September 13     Chapel 9:30 (Honors dress required for students) Parents are always      welcome to attend
September 17-22 Hickory Grove Spirit Week/Homecoming activities
September 18     Fall Make-up pictures
September 18     Parent Night 6PM
September 28     Cafeteria will be closed.  Look for details offering a pizza lunch
