April 17, 2017 Announcements

Spring Pictures

Proofs are ready. Your child will be receiving information by Tuesday to bring home for you to view the Spring pictures.

Terra Nova testing

Terra Nova tests will be administered May 16-May 19. Here are helpful tips for testing:
  • make sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before testing
  • eat a healthy breakfast
  • have your child to school on time. If they are late and testing has started, they will not be allowed to enter the classroom.
Any student absent will not be able to make up the test.


Athletic Garage Sale

The HGCS Athletic Department is having a Garage Sale on Friday, April 21st from 3:00 to 5:30pm at the Field House! We are selling old uniforms and gear for football, soccer, baseball, cheerleading, basketball, volleyball, and golf. 

7th grade parents

On May 19, the 7th graders will be going to Carowinds to end out the school year.  All money and permission slips are due by April 28.  The cost is $36.00,cash only, exact change please

  • May 11            Spring Band concert (Latin Campus) 6:30 pm
  • May 16-19       Middle school Terra Nova testing (if absent, no makeups will be given)
  • May 19            7th graders to Carowinds
  • May 23            8th graders to Defy Gravity/CiCi's pizza
  • May 24            Last day of school (1/2 day)
